The Changing Landscape of Landlording in Wales
Housing is a devolved matter in Wales, and new legislation has dramatically reshaped the rental sector.
In December 2023, the once-simple five-page tenancy agreement evolved into a complex 70-page Occupation Contract, part of a broader wave of reforms by the Welsh Assembly.
England is now following suit with the Renters Reform Bill.
These changes are fundamentally alterting the Private Rented Sector

The Evolution of Landlords in Wales
Originally conceived as a consultancy to mentor new landlords, Landlords in wales has grown into a broader support network.
Founder Michael , a landlord since 2003, initially built his business under the brands Vegan lettings and Vegan Investments.
Over time , he expanded his work collaborating with other investors, forming Property Solutions in Wales in 2011.
The website now develops this spirit of partnership, promoting direct-to-vendor property deals for its members
A key addition for 2025 is a major educational resource, offering members exclusive discounts on existing and brand new learning materials.
The Learning Room will serve as a hub for landlords to access essential and advanced training.
Michael envisions a part of the website to be an open source platform as a shared medium for members.
